Clinic was amazing and all of the teachers in clinic were great. Overall, it was a good hands-on experience and I was able to place implants with real patients. However, the course lacked enough didactic training for doctors with limited to no surgical extraction experience. There was very little depth on suturing techniques or flap designs before surgery, which should absolutely be covered before participating in live implant cases. I also noticed favoritism from the Dr. Mongalo toward Level 2 participants and Spanish speaking students. Since Level 2 costs thousands more, the difference in treatment was noticeable. Additionally, the way he spoke to female doctors compared to male doctors was noticeably degrading and unprofessional at times. They were not treated with the same level of respect. Another issue was the organization around meals. The course information stated that lunch would be provided, but on some days it was not. Participants also were not informed ahead of time that meal costs would be split evenly among everyone. This felt unfair, especially for vegetarians who barely had anything to eat and for participants who did not drink alcohol but still had to split th

I was referred to Live implant Training by a friend. I joined about three years ago. My surgical skills and implant placement has improved dramatically. The amount of knowledge I acquired cannot be described by words. Dr. Mongalo and his team pay close attention to all their students needs and focus on what they need help with the most yet keeping a comprehensive approach. I learned everything from treatment planning to case selection to knowing how to execute with perfect precision and a high degree of predictability. Thank you Dr. Mongalo and team at Live Implant training ( LIT ) for all you have given me .

My brother and I took the Level 3 All-on-X live implant training course in Valparaiso, Mexico, in February 2026, and it was hands down the best educational experience of our careers. The curriculum is incredibly practical and high-yield. We learned how to confidently freehand All-on-X cases and master immediate loading protocols for full archesโskills that have completely transformed our day-to-day clinical approach. Honestly, my only complaint is that I wish the course was longer because I was learning so much and the wealth of knowledge being shared was incredible. The professors are truly world-classโnot only brilliant clinicians but also some of the nicest, most humble people you will ever meet. What sets this program apart, though, is how they keep the community connected afterward. We are all in a group chat where we continuously get up-to-date knowledge and fresh insights on implants. Iโm already planning on taking their upper-level courses soon. If you are on the fence about signing up, just do it. It is worth every penny and more!

I do not recommend any of their courses to anyone. Itโs extremely unorganized, they use very low quality instruments and biomaterials. Majority of implants fail because they simply donโt know what theyโre doing. Many of their locations got shut down and they keep opening new ones in different locations. Faculty whoโs teaching there are just a bunch of guys who took this course earlier. They will not teach you how to place implants properly. Avoid at all cost. Thereโs many good courses out there to learn implants.

Live implant training is a must for any practitioner who wishes to gain confidence and competence through implant dentistry. The faculty is world class and everyone is there for your best interest. Itโs a place where theory becomes a reality and where strangers become family. Thank you to all the staff members, attending doctors and residents for helping us, Dr. Mongalo for starting such an amazing program, and Dr. Frankie Castillo, aka gangstadds, for planning the interactive events after the long clinical days. I will miss this special class but I canโt wait to come back next time for the next level of training. Highly recommend. #LITFamily
